It has its high points and lowpoints
The Inn is quiet and cozy. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. However, the concept of being able to enjoy an upscale place in the woods without food service just doesn't work. The whole idea of a getaway, and you have to leave everyday to eat is counterintuitive. The breakfast is a set meal, changing daily and good. The service is spotty. There is no lunch or supper. That explains the spotty service. Hard to get help to work 4 hours a day. I would expect a lot more from the owners of the old Edward Inn

Gorgeous property, very accomodating staff, delicious food and lovely accomodations. All aspects of this property were of exceptional quality. We cannot wait to revisit. The only downside for us was the ' no minors' rule
