A Quiet Respite

My wife and I spent four nights at Half-Mile Farm during the wedding weekend for our granddaughter. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions to other related destinations. The breakfast room served a different main dish each morning with attentive staff. The small but comfortable bar served bar food and drinks at times when no other food services was available on site. Our room was extremely spacious and comfortably furnished witha large walk-in closet and heated-floor and spacious bathroom. Each night was quiet, peaceful, and restful - a genuine respite! We spent social time at the Old Edwards Inn and Spa in "downtown" Highlands but liked Half-Mile for its unique and quiet lodging

Amazing in every way!

This was a recommendation from a friend and it was absolutely amazing! We stayed for 5 nights. The property and rooms are even better than the pictures. We stayed in room 32. The back porch, fireplace, heated tile floors, turn down service...just to name a few, made the stay so cozy. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Mr.Bruce was so pleasant and accommodating. Carol made calls to find us swimwear ( in December!) for our spa day at Old Edwards. First class service from beginning to end. We definitely plan to return and recommend
