Our happy place and all the reasons we come back again and again.
My husband and stayed at Half Mile Farm for three nights earlier this month. I know by this point we'd come at least three times but out of curiosity we had them look it up. It turns out this was our fifth visit up there. Here is what we love; the inn is beautiful, it's quiet, the food is delish, and the service--exemplary. The main reason we prefer Half Mile Farm to Old Edwards is because Half Mile Farm is quiet. Old Edwards tends to be loud and certainly a see and be seen crowd. Aside from the occasional group of women visiting for a girls weekend, at HFM, its's mostly couples visiting. If you are looking for a peaceful place to enjoy nature, take care of yourself (read, nap, go on walks/hikes) and appreciate great service, this is spot for you. Standout employees include: Carol and Vivian at the front desk, who are always warm and so good to us. Chris, a bartender who is knowledgeable, kind, always helpful, and makes the best cocktails. Tom (I believe) and Dalia are thoughtful servers who helped make each meal enjoyable and encouraged us to just enjoy ourselves. Johnathan Austin (a mgr. for Old Edwards), we met for the first time and we only wished we'd known him since our first trips. What a thoughtful and gracious hospitality professional

Very relaxing getaway!
My husband and I went in January, 2020 to celebrate our anniversary. We loved this place! It was so quiet and nice and the service was fantastic! Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast served by a friendly staff. After a day of hiking and exploring we were ready to come back to have the afternoon hor d'oevres and live music. The room we had was very cozy with a fireplace and in the common areas of the farm there were several wood burning fireplaces. We definitely want to come back
