Meet The Team of Half-Mile Farm

Kylie Hickman

Inn Manager
In 2015, Kylie Hickman, a Sarasota, Florida native, joined Old Edwards Hospitality Group after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. Fueled by her love for hospitality and the beautiful North Carolina mountains, Kylie began her career at Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Over the course of two years, Kylie spent time cultivating her hospitality experience in multiple departments as well as gaining further hotel management experience abroad in New Zealand. Upon the completion of Half-Mile Farms renovation process in May of 2017, Kylie joined the team as the Assistant Inn Manager.

Jason Tardo

Chef

With previous experience in both historic hotels and private clubs, Jason Tardo began his culinary career at High Hampton in Cashiers, NC. He then worked as Executive Chef in James Gandolfini's restaurant, The Vine in Oneonta, NY. In 2007, after being absent from the kitchen for more than five years while working in foodservice sales and distribution, Jason was named chef at Half-Mile Farm where he continues to delight his guests with his culinary creations.
